Rest in peace, Brother! You did it your way…and made history … and a contribution that will go down in history, Black history and American history! Thank you and rest in peace! We won’t forget you…

If brother Albert Einsten was a lawyer he would be Mr. Derrick Bell because other than Thurgood Marshall. Mr Bell was the WEinstein of Law and a giant in the field of Law and he will be surely missed. I wish a lot of thsese want to be gangsta and Hip Hop Hoola Hoopers had the chance to sit in a room with this man for just five minutes. I am very sure that they would walk ourt of that room with more brains and common sense that God gave them. I got to sit in on him once and hear him speak. Go in Peace and be at Peace.

I did not take or make the time to know you better, when you were with us “on this side!” However, I will certainly take the time, now, to partake of your Wisdom! Rest in peace, Brother! From what I have read, thus far, your contribution was HUGE!

I choose to believe that your “passing on” was not a loss, but just “punctuation”…as in an exclamation point (!). Rest in peace, now…
