I agree instead of sitting waiting for the President to save us lets get out there and do it ourselves. Tyler Perry said it the best when he said instead of trying to build a business buy trying to make the quick bucks in selling drugs or any other illegal venture use that energy and intellegence to open and own your own legitatimate business. Come on people we have so much intellegence in our community let put it to good use.

I am totally in agreement with our President .Nobody is gonna save us. If black people thought that is what his job was, they are wrong…We have to save ourselves. I am certain that if we sat down and took a good look at our lives, there are a lot of changes that we can do to make our lives better. So, let’s do that and move on. Our President is doing the very best he can to get this country back on its feet and it is congress and the republicans who are trying to stop him in every direction. If people can’t see that then they are blind.

I am also in total agreement with president Obama he did not say “stop the bitching” he did say instead of black america looking at him to fix the ills of the world and be a “black” president is not fair to him. He can not be a “black” president he has to be “the” president of the united states and on a lot of issues do what is in the best interest of the american people. Yes, black people we need to stop complaining, poverty is nothing new. President Obama cannot just say okay what ever injustice that has been done to black people now because I am president is wrong and I am going to make sure we get those 40 acres and a mule that was promised. Cmon black people we all know that is not realistic, what we should be doing as a collective people is support him in what is trying to do to make things better not only for blacks but for the entire country. Of course we are not going to all agree with his approach but if we as black people took the time to “read” maybe we will see some of the policies he is trying to enact will benefit us the most. Take the time to read between the lines and give him the support he is deserving. You know what he is up against he became president at the worst time economically, he is not a miracle worker nor should we expect him to be.

Ms. Carnell you just lied on the President of the United States the highest office in the land. You should be ashamed of yourself. Many heard him speak and that’s definitely not what he communicated.

Find something productive to do with your life. Since you have such an interest in communicating with the Black Community, try volunteering your services to help make the Black Community a Better Place

However, we won’t hold our breath because doing that takes too much effort and a geniune interest in your own community!
