Snoop From The Wire Pleads Guilty for Drug Conspiracy

Your Black World reports
Felicia Pearson, better known as “Snoop,” who played a drug assassin in the popular HBO show “The Wire”pleaded guilty on Monday to drug conspiracy charges, which were caught on a wiretap in a recent federal drug probe.
A day before her trial was to begin, Pearson, 31, pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute heroin. As a result of the plea deal, Judge Lawrence Fletcher-Hill suspended a seven-year sentence, but administered three years of supervised probation with special provisions for traveling out-of-state for work purposes.
According to Pearson’s Lawyer–Benjamin C. Sutely–the plea deal will allow Pearson to continue with her acting career, although there was some skepticism on the part of Sutely had the case actually went to trial. “I can’t say that she would have been found not guilty,” Sutely stated.
Pearson was included as one of the 64 people charged this past month in “Operation Usual Suspects.” According to the federal indictment, Pearson and other members in the probe purchased large quantities of marijuana from California and heroin from New York and distributed the drugs in inner city Baltimore.
When asked how will she avoid similar pitfalls in the future, Pearson simply said, “I’m moving to LA.”

What the heck Snoop you didn’t know you were acting. You wasn’t suppose to take it seriously. Dang!!!
Those shows are entertaining but we gotta do better.
