President Obama Releases His Official Birth Certificate

President Barack Obama has officially released the long form of his birth certificate in response to the questions about whether or not he was born in the United States. Originally, the president had only released the short form copy, which led to speculation that he was born abroad.
The “Birther Movement,” built around trying to prove that President Obama was born elsewhere, has grown and even Donald Trump has gone on a major media campaign to publicly question President Obama’s birthplace. Trump’s campaign has been called racist, and the White House has referred to the Birther Movement as a “political sideshow” that does little to add to meaningful debate.
CNN recently aired an investigation that they claim puts the birth certificate controversy to rest. In the series, the network goes to Hawaii to carefully examine the birth certification process, and they also dig to find newspaper announcements of President Obama’s birth. A recent survey showed that roughly one-fourth of all Americans didn’t believe that President Obama was born in the United States. The majority of the non-believers were Republican.

When people are trying to stop one from succeeding they will make up things and this is what happen in President Obama case, the right wings will try everything possible to see that the President fail, and I think President has final realize, you have to play hard ball with the opposition. And now the public wait!! I am sure they will try to come back with something else.

I am glad he finally, after two years gave up his certificate of live birth long form to prove he was born in the US. As for Bev no one wants our president to fail because if he fails we all go down as you see we are doing now. Obama did us a big favor because this divided us as americans, how can a leader and president let this go on for so long? How for political gain to make himself to be viewed as a victim, this is the most political person we have ever had for president, everything is for political gain nothing is for the good of the country. Black people know this is true, but many are so consumed with the color of Obamas skin and that somebody owes them something that they cannot or will not think clearly. Obama has expanded government greatly this is also political because when you have repubs who want to have smaller government many peopl do not want to lose their jobs even if the jobs are useless and dupicate.

I am glad that our President made public his birth certificate showing that he is a US Citizen. But it totally saddens me to know that even today, 2011, racisim is alive and well in America.
