Could Farrakhan Undermine Obama’s Black Base?

Quick Note from Dr. Boyce Watkins
I noticed a couple of things this weekend: First, Louis Farrakhan’s attack on President Obama’s decision to bomb Libya became one of the most amazingly viral videos I’ve seen in quite a while. In just a couple of days, the video had over half a million views, which is rare and powerful for a video of that nature. Farrakhan is not like, say, Lady Gaga or Kanye West (who might get a lot of views from non-black folks). He fits into a niche of black leadership, receiving views from only a particular segment of the population.

My advice to Farrakhan and others like him clean up your own back yard before you take offense or right of judgement upon someones action or deeds. Remeber days of the Black Muslim movement. If he can not help President Obama then he should keep quite. He know and as well as all of West Africa and the world who and what the Lybia head of state is and the problems he has caused for the world. So if you choose to supposed him and his cause, then you should take time and know that many West African States have a price on his head. I will say no more just back up and let the President do his job and you want to tell him how too, then maybe you should become President if you can.
