Jeremiah Wright says Obama is like any other president
President Barack Obama’s longtime minister, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, gave an assessment Thursday of his former congregant’s short time in the White House: Obama is just like any other president.
Speaking in a brief interview with The Associated Press before giving a speech at a civil rights landmark, Wright smiled at the mention of the name of the nation’s first black president.
"He’s like any other president," Wright said. "He’s a politician and he’s got to do what politicians do."
Wright’s remarks were similar to those he made after his fiery preaching became a campaign issue last year, forcing Obama to distance himself from his longtime pastor at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago.

Finally someone is telling the truth about President Obama. He chose to be like any other President by aligning himself with the failed pundits of the past instead of empowering new voices to sit at the table of power. The Obama Team admitted they used the ideas of the “Little People” to rise to power and they have been rewarded with riches and accolades they didn’t earn. They need to give credit where credit is due. They need to share the names of these “Little People” because electing the first Black President is no “Childish Thing” or “Petty Grievance.” Rev. Wright is speaking truth about power. It corrupts absolutely. President Obama is like any other President because “He fears the truth.” He fears getting re-elected. Politics should not be about getting re-elected. A politician should earn it not buy it by turning a blind eye to corruption or not investigating crimes. Protect and defend the Constitution and the people will reward those worthy with another term. Dropping trow in the White House and starting endless wars just because you can are not worthy of a second selection. Going Commando (Carol Lee’s Article and Picture in the Politico) to celebrate passing the “Stimulus Package” isn’t worthy either if the package is the same old same old “Trickle Down Voodoo Economics.”
