In a town hall in Virginia today, the Arizona Senator promised to “whip” Obama’s “you know what,” in the upcoming debate this Wednesday:
“After I whip his you know what in this debate, we’re going to be going out 24/7.”
In a failed attempt to temper the insinuations in his statement, Sen. McCain promised to do this, while maintaining a “respectful” campaign. If only the last week hadn’t happened, such claim might pass the smell test. For a campaign recently accused of Jim-Crow-like activities, any references to slavery might not be the most profitable strategy:
“I wanna emphasize again, I respect Senator Obama, we will conduct a respectful race and we will make sure that everybody else does too.”
